OK so I tried my hand at downhill skiing, and I have to say that contrary to my preconceived misconceptions, it was an awful lot of fun !! The instructor must have been familiar with decrepit old fossils like me. He warned me that I was pushing myself somewhat hard and predicted that my eyeballs would be the only moving parts come morning...he was almost correct...
