I can't believe that we have a 15 year old... :) When asked where he wanted to eat for his Birthday, he said it would be at home, and that "I" would be BBQing T-Bones...really?

Survival Food...

My ever-thoughtful friend Bruce just returned from the U.S., and in Santa-like fashion delivered two things on my wanted list. To my knowledge, neither of these are available in Canada. With camping season approaching, the timing is sweet. Smucker's Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam "Concoction", and Kraft "no need to refrigerate" Easy Cheese. I'm both giddy and salivating :)

2007 Habs-Toronto repeat ???

In 2007, Montreal's playoff hopes were crushed by Toronto on the last Saturday night of the regular season. Fast forward to 2010; guess who's playing this Saturday night? Yup, Montreal and Toronto. Is there a chance that 29th place Toronto could do it again? You Betcha !! Montreal now sits nervously in 7th place in the East, one point ahead of Philly. Miserable losses to Carolina and the Islanders have resulted in this predicament. Montreal might make the playoffs, but not necessarily because they deserve it...

Nice long weekend

That was a good long weekend with many good things to aid the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. The weather cooperated too, with lots of outdoor opportunities. I even got to play lumberjack, and cut some wood with my "girlish" electric chainsaw...don't tell anyone...(oh yeah, and thanks for the wood Steve)...

Things are still not quite resolved in the Eastern Conference, but Montreal might clinch a spot tonight...
